Grandma’s final photo of granddaughter minutes before she’s k1lled

A grandmother unknowingly captured a heartbreaking final moment of her granddaughter, three-year-old Scarlett Jensen, just before a tragic hit-and-run took her life in Oldtown, Idaho. Scarlett and her two-year-old brother, Henry, were under their grandmother’s care when a speeding Chevy Tahoe barreled down their private driveway, striking both children before their grandmother could pull them to safety.

Despite her desperate attempts to save them, Scarlett was killed almost instantly, while Henry and their grandmother sustained life-altering injuries. The driver fled, but was later apprehended and sentenced to ten years in prison. In the aftermath, amidst the grief and pain, Samantha Jensen, Scarlett’s mother, found a source of comfort in a photograph taken moments before the accident, capturing Scarlett in a peaceful, happy moment. “That photo is how I want to remember her,” Samantha said, as the family continues to heal, holding onto the precious memory of a little girl who was loved and cherished.
